SIRON implements another offshore substation

SIRON received the order to protect a new Offshore Substation in the German North Sea. The (CAFS) Compressed Air Foam systems will be designed according to the NFPA and are FM approved. The systems have a separate water and foam tank to dramatically reduce the Opex costs compared with premix foam systems or premixed watermist / foam systems. It also reduces the amount of chemical waste by 70-90% because no premix has to be destroyed every 3-5 years. The SIRON foam stays in perfect working condition for 20-25 years.
